​     Office building Galip Erdem 36 is located on Erdemir Street within İlkbahar Neighborhood, which is an area where majority of Ankara's prestigious headquarters, embassies, residences and offices are located. The office building features sustainable architectural principles with an area of 1,127 m2 and 123 m2 terrace area. Solar and wind factors, as well as other land features have been taken into consideration while determining the building orientation and also the positioning of openings to allow for natural ventilation. An innovative “Cooltube” system which utilizes geothermal energy has been implemented to provide warm fresh air in winter and cool air in summer to be included in the system, without energy expenditure. Geothermal energy has also been used to regulate the water temperature of the reflecting pond.
